OUR STORY
As parents ourselves, we know that bringing up children and young adults can be challenging and emotionally demanding. Often the pleasures and rewards that come with being a parent can be lost amidst the minefield of conflicts and challenges that we face daily and we recognise that whilst we all strive to be the best parent we can be, we sometimes need help to navigate the path ahead.
With this in mind, we set up EmParenting in 2016. Our mission is to support families with the insights, skills and tools needed to nurture the development and well-being of the next generation
We passionately believe in building and strengthening children's core qualities of emotional intelligence , kindness and moral compass.
MEET THE TEAM
Catherine Loble
As former primary school teacher and mentor, in both the state and independent sector, I now practise as a family and educational consultant. I support children in their specific learning needs, assessing their abilities and preparing them for the minefield of tests they encounter on their journey, as well as advising parents on how best to support their children.
Through my expertise, experience and empathy both as a teacher and a working mother, I ensure that children become confident, enthusiastic and independent learners. I passionately believe in using my coaching, mindfulness and mental health training to enhance a child's learning experience and personal development.
Lisa Wander
I have worked in a top-ranking state primary school for over 12 years, running programmes covering many topics including gross and fine motor skills as well as social and emotional issues and resilience training. I am also a specialist handwriting teacher. In addition, I am a family and educational consultant supporting children and families with a range of issues.
Through my love of children and my many years of experience both as a teacher and a working parent, I understand the importance of ensuring that our children are given the best chance to become happy, confident and resilient adults. My Mental Health First Aid Training and belief in the importance of mindfulness is at the forefront of all my work.
